WHO IS KIMCHIBANG?

Once upon a time there were two guys, a Hawaiian and a French, Miko and Hugo, both exchange students for one year in Seoul at Chung-Ang University. Miko was a photographer who lived two years in Japan and Hugo a young doe-eyed Frenchie excited to make movies in a new country, a new city, a huge city like Seoul. Miko and Hugo were living together for a few months when Miko met Hugo in the kitchen cooking pasta as usual. Miko ate some of Hugo’s pasta but something was wrong: the pasta was not “al dente” (well-cooked). Hugo’s pasta not “al dente” means something was wrong. Miko asked what was the problem. Hugo answered (with a sad voice) : “The topic for the next short session is ”My city I love you” and I don’t want to miss it , I really want to do ”Seoul I love you.” But I have no ideas! Hugo cried. Miko wanted to help him, so he thought, he thought, he thought… and he got an idea: “Let’s do something together!” And Kimchibang was created. After "Seoul I love you", Kimchibang made "The false understanding" and for their last cooperation before going back to their own country, "Modifying Logic." English, French, Chinese, Korean: Kimchibang used different languages in their movies but they have all something in common: Seoul. Kimchibang wanted to show with an other point of view, Seoul, Korea and it culture. Our travels brought us to Seoul, but wherever your travels bring you, it’s always an incredible experience for you and your future …
